The whole world is lying in the power of the wicked one.—1 John 5:19.

We are not surprised, then, that Satan and his demons would influence men in powerful positions to “speak lies.” (1 Tim. 4:1, 2) Religious leaders who lie are especially guilty because they endanger the future life prospects of those who believe their lies. If an individual accepts a false teaching and practices something that is actually condemned by God, it can cost that person his eternal life. (Hos. 4:9) Jesus knew that the religious leaders in his day were guilty of such deception. He told them to their face: “Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! because you travel over sea and dry land to make one convert, and when he becomes one, you make him a subject for Gehenna [everlasting destruction] twice as much so as yourselves.” (Matt. 23:15; ftn.) Jesus condemned those false religious leaders in the strongest terms. They truly were ‘from their father the Devil, a murderer.’—John 8:44. w18.10 7 ¶5-6

You can't walk with God while holding hands with the Devil.

Over the years I have come to see the Truth as a way of life though many in the world just see their beliefs as a religion.

In Jesus time it was know as The Way.

The word religion was never used before the 1500 to 1700 C.E.

Mankind living their lives each day according to Jehovah's direction was seen as a form of worship to him.

Sadly when mankind drew away from Jehovah they created a set of beliefs according to their own disposition.

This led to many of mankind following their lead and suffering spiritually and physically for it.

I remember Jim Jones leading all those people to their deaths some years back telling them God was telling them

to take cordial laced with poison to receive a better life.  There have been many like him.

We should be so thankful that Jehovah has given us his word and his spirit to discern false teachings.

Those with blood guilt from such teachings will be dealt with by Jehovah.

And knowing the instigator, once a beautiful Cherub who failed to appreciate his lot, will be dealt with as well.

It has been a long wait for many but we have the privilege of seeing the final part of things.

Thank you Father.

Merv and Chris Webster.
